Zusammenfassung:	A reinforcing structure for orifices 4 in a pipe wall is shown, which is formed by pipe bands wound horizontally or in an ascending manner, there being provided on both sides of the orifice 4 reinforcing bands 1, 2 which run in the vertical direction and which are connected to U-profiles 3, 3' running in the direction of the pipes and connected at their flanges to the webs of the pipe bands. The U-profiles 3, 3' form, together with the reinforcing bands 2, a closed frame which surrounds the orifice 4. This largely avoids load being exerted on the edges of the orifices by stresses.
