Zusammenfassung:	In an exhaust system for two-stroke internal combustion engines having an exhaust pipe to whose initial region, which has a constant cross section, at least two conical regions are connected via a connecting piece and pipe runs, which conical regions are formed by diffusors DI and DII which are connected in parallel and open into a common collecting container 9 to which the exhaust-gas end pipe is connected, with the pipe runs LI and LII being of different lengths, according to Patent No. 399 914, the longer pipe run LI is arranged together with the associated diffusor DI coaxially in the shorter pipe run LII with the second diffusor DII. This makes it very much easier to fit the exhaust system in a confined engine space, irrespective of the installation position of the engine.
