Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a process for the production of a cosmetic composition, wherein a nutrient solution which has a mineral thermal water of natural origin and is optionally enriched with metal compounds up to a concentration of 10-2 mol/l calculated for each metal ion is sterilized and inoculated with a pure algal culture, a sterile stream of air containing carbon dioxide is passed through the nutrient solution, the algae are removed after a culture time of 7 to 30 days at a temperature of 0 to 80 degree C, the algae obtained in this way are, where appropriate, disrupted using known physical or chemical methods, and, where appropriate, treated or reacted with at least one metal compound until the concentration reaches a maximum of 10-2 mol/kg for each metal ion, and the resulting algal composition is mixed with at least one conventional cosmetic additive, preferably oils or fats, starch, bran, surface-active substances, preservatives, and/or diluents, and, where appropriate, at least one active additional material, preferably propolis, plasma protein, animal protein, globin, egg white, polymer and/or dried dust of plant origin, in a quantity ratio of 0.5 to 95% by weight of the algal composition, where appropriate 0.05 to 50% by weight of active additional material, and the remainder to 100% by weight of cosmetic additive known per se. |
