Slide (transparency) magazine

The magazine has a housing open at the top for a slide feeder unit with an image changer having a horizontally actuated slide changer (slide carrier, sliding panel). Approximately longitudinally in the middle of a longitudinal wall, the housing, which can be inserted immovably into the apparatus, has a through opening for a slide opposite which is situated a deflecting device in the form of a plate with a deflecting surface running obliquely relative to the longitudinal middle plane of the housing. Pivotably mounted in the region of the deflecting device is a transport lever which can be moved transverse to the longitudinal middle plane from a rest position into a working position and which has a working (acting) surface cooperating with the slide changer. In the rest position of the transport lever, the working surface projects into the track of the slide changer, but in the working position it is arranged outside this track. The transport lever has a driver (pilot) surface for a slide which is arranged on that side of the transport lever which is assigned to the end of the deflecting surface situated closer to the through opening. In the working position of the transport lever, the driver surface is displaced by a predetermined amount in the direction of the through opening. A pressing device for the slides is provided on both sides of the deflecting device.
