1339922 Biurets ESSO RESEARCH & ENG CO 26 April 1971 [27 April 1970] 11412/71 Heading C2C Novel compounds of Formula I wherein each of the groups R 1 to R 6 , which may be the same or different, represents H, C 1-10 alkyl, C 2-10 alkenyl, C 3-10 cycloalkyl or C 6-10 aryl optionally substituted by C 1-6 alkyl, Cl or Br; or C 7-10 arylalkyl, and/or R 1 and R 2 and/or R 3 and R 4 and/or R 5 and R 6 , together with the N atom to which they are attached form a heterocyclic ring optionally substituted by alkyl or halogen and which ring may contain one or more further hetero atoms such as N or S; M represents a Zn, Fe, Ni, Cu, Mn or Co cation; X represents a Cl, Br, I, SO 4 , NO 3 , phosphate or acetate anion; n is an integer determined by the valency of M; and Y represents O or S, may be prepared by reacting a compound of general formula described in Specification 1,274,015 with a metal salt of formula MX n . The novel salts exhibit plant growth regulant properties.
