Zusammenfassung:This invention relates to a method of charging an explosive material into a receptacle comprising the steps of providing an explosive material into a delivery tubular member leading to the receptacle and providing a sweep member which fits snugly into the delivery tubular member. The sweep member is inserted into the delivery tubular member upstream of at least some of the explosives material provided into the delivery tubular member, and the sweep member is then thrust through the delivery tubular member by means of fluid pressure thereby thrusting the explosive material through the delivery tubular member into the receptacle.
