Zusammenfassung:The problem of the prevention of the penetration of corrosion-active components into coating protecting various materials is considered. It is shown that inhibitors involved into micropores and various defects of coating seriously reduce the rate of the penetration of corrosive agents. The mass-transfer aspects of the inhibition of the penetration of acids into coating have been analyzed. It is shown that the effectiveness of the inhibition cannot be easily related to the chemical composition of inhibitors.
