The research aims to study home quarantine to confront the Corona virus and its social effects on the residents of the eastern district of Hamza, as the rate of infection with Corona virus varied among the residents of the district of Hamza, reaching the highest percentage within the eastern district of Hamza (49.4%), while the lowest percentage was recorded within the Al-Sudair district and reached ( 21.4%), and the rates of infection varied within urban and rural areas, recording the highest percentage in the urban district and reached (73%) and in the countryside (27%). 50%) and reached (56.7%) of the total sample size, which led to the emergence of positive social effects represented in the development of social relations and social solidarity, As for the negative effects of home quarantine, they were represented by the phenomenon of domestic violence, divorce cases, social distancing, mental health, work, and education.
