The research aims at presenting a study on Arabic sentence structure in Alkharnaq divan by making use of grammarians’ judgments and presenting a number of poetic quotations of different types. The research was consisted of five topics dealt with simple verbal sentence, transitive verbal sentence, types of negative sentence, types of confirmation sentence and request sentence. The study was based on and made use of old and modern references such as grammatical and linguistic books, theses and magazines that studied the sentence like, simple and extended verbal sentence, negative ظ interrogative sentence, bothofwhicharebyZein Kamil Alkhweiski, Arabic sentence structure in the divan ofUmru’ulqays (A Master degree thesis) Arabic sentence in the divan of Labeed Bin Rabee’a Ala;mir (A Master degree thesis) by Majeed Chichan Abid Aldileimi. The study of Arabic sentence in the poetry of U’rwa Bin Uthayna by Dhiya’ Abdulridha Alfalahi, the verbal sentence is the base of expression in Arabic (A research in Arabic academy magazine V.7 Cairo, 1953), rather than other books which tackled linguistic structures in Arabic by Ph. D. Hadi Naha, and linguistic structure in contemporary poetry of Alsayab, Nazik and AlBayati, by Malik Al-Mutlabi.
