A1 - Mu’tadhid Billah(279-289 A.H /892-901A.d).Thereare many reason
which call on the researcher to study this caliph since he came to
power, when the Turks had controled everything in the state. They used to
depose whoever they dislike and gave position whom they wish. The
Abbassid caliphs did not leave there residential centers during the
time, because of the complicated circumstances. However A1 - Mu’tadhid
Billah confronted those people( The Turks); and turned things out for his
own and the caliphate interest. He led many armies in different directions
in order to impose the Abbasid state sovereign and its power
.The research also tackles the administratative and financial policy
during this period and how the caliph confronting the military and
administrative establishment in addition to his efforts to supply royalties
to the state and its agriculture projects. prior to his period , the
government had failed to pay salaries to the soldiers.lt is by now ر under
the reign of this caliph the state has managed to save up huge amount of
money which exceeds ten million dinars in reserve every year. The

reseearch also deals with the qulified personal he had entrusted his
adminstrating jobs. He for example, took a step by which he played
payment of tributes for nearly three months. Despite the administrating as
well as financial problems associated with his measure, yet his wisdom
and well-qualified procedure enable him to run this step out to be a
victory to the caliphate and the public. |
