Zusammenfassung:The study aimed at developing the general education curriculum framework in the Republic of Yemen in comparison to the curriculum framework in the Kingdom of Morocco. In order to fulfill this aim, both researchers used the method of comparative documentary analysis and put a group of inquiries which were clarified through a comparative analytical presentation for the general education curriculum framework in the Republic of Yemen and the white book - part I in the Kingdom of Morocco with respect to: framework domain, graduate features, curriculum formation approach, curriculum arrangement principles, temporal arrangement for the study, evaluation and teaching strategies. The study reached leading conclusions focusing on the general education curriculum framework in the Republic of Yemen: most importantly the following: Weakness in basing of the education curriculum framework on the education law in terms of: educational philosophy subjects, their general objectives and policy. The framework lias not detennined the curriculum formation approach and its principles as well as the evaluative and educational strategies. The study presented reconunendations, most importantly: To promote the general law for education which is considered the basis containing the general starting points that organize the educational system, its goals, school functions, policies, the academic organization as an introduction to develop the national framework for the Yemeni curriculum.
