نحو عدالة لغوية : من أجل رفع الحيف السياسي عن اللغة العربية في بلاد العرب

This article tackles the ordeal of Arabic language in the Arab lands, not as a linguistic challenge, but as a clash for power that led to the domination of Western language at the expense of Arabic. Inspired by the theories of classical Arab thinkers on language and power relations, and by modern theories of sociolinguistics, the article explains the impact of bilingualism on identity and loyalty, and pleas for facing the forceful intrusion of Western languages in the Arab cultural space, and to more inclusiveness and fairness towards the minority languages in the Arab world.
