Zusammenfassung: | The philosophy of the relevant design requirements and the essential load parameters for the manoeuvre load conditions, including the determination of the control displacements corresponding to the design requirements, is reviewed. As far as the operational load parameters are concerned, numerous data have been recorded for the normal laod factor but only a for other main load parameters, e.g. lateral load factor, roll rate etc. These data usually are evaluated as cumulative frequency distributions. The envelope of such normal load factor spectra shows a large scatter depending on the aircraft and its usage. For future design work, and approach to the elevation of operational manoeuvres is presented. In this analysis, the maximum values of the main load parameters needed, i.e. normal and lateral load factor, roll rate and bank angle, can be determined. The extreme operational loads on the structural components have been derived by applying a manoeuvre model and compared with the design values.
