Zusammenfassung: | In this study, the crew's behavior and performance of a supervisory control task in an anti-aircraft artillery (AAA) system was investigated from an integrated-network-of-tasks point of view. The supervisory control task was characterized by a sequence of subtasks interconnected and performed by a commander, a gunner, and a range operator. A subtask flow chart was developed using the structure of SAINT(Systems Analysis of Integrated Networks of Tasks). Distribution of various times to complete subtasks were constructed. Procedural data were categorized into different groups according to mode switching patterns, and analyzed with performance data to find strategies in the commander's decision-making process. Differences in procedure and completion times due to target maneuver, visibility, countermeasures, and C3 information were examined and quantified. (Author)
