ABSTRACT: The department (code 32) consists of two large divisions, Sensing and Systems (321) and Processes and Prediction (322), of integrated, multidisciplinary programs in naval environments, undersea warfare, and related subjects. The department also includes the Naval Space S&T Program Office, the central point of contact for the DON's space science and technology activities, and the Countermine Program Office, pursuing seamless amphibious mine countermeasure (MCM) operations from sea to land. The department focuses its S & T programs in the areas of Battlespace Environments (BSE), Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW), Mine Warfare (MIW), and Maritime Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance and Space Exploitation (ISR). This report presents annual reports grouped by SECNAV/CNO Chair and Scholar in Oceanographic Science, Research Opportunities for Program Officers (ROPO), National Oceanographic Partnership Program projects, and program groups.
