Zusammenfassung: | ELECTRONIC FILE CHARACTERISTICS: 5 files; Adobe Acrobat (.PDF). PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: 1 CD-ROM; 4 3/4 in.; 3.95 MB. ABSTRACT: The objective of Work Plan Two was to continue Test Site Preparation. The Evaluation Area bounds an area of the ship defined by frame 29 and forward on the 5th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd, and main decks and forward of frame 50 on the Ol level, inclusive. During the period 6-10 March 2006, the Future Naval Concepts - Crew Reductions through Improved Damage Control Communications (FNC-CRIDCC) Team conducted further investigation and evaluation of the ex-USS Shadwell shipboard environment to document the existing infrastructure, components, layout, functionality, and performance regarding the AC power distribution system, the Sound Powered Phone (SPP) circuit, and the IEEE Standard 802.11 (a/b/g) Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) and Ethernet systems. Further, the team installed a Powerline Communications capability in several locations to support the DC Triad Communications capability. Lastly, the FNC-CRIDCC Team completed mapping coverage for the VoIP capability.
