Zusammenfassung:	The purpose of this MBA Project is to examine the Final Report of the Department of Defense s Military Compensation and Retirement Modernization Commission that was released January 2015 and submitted to Congress and the President of the United States. We will evaluate the recommendation for implementing a modernized retirement system, consisting of a blended Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution Plan. The primary tool used to accomplish this goal was applying a Net Present Value (NPV) analysis based on the proposed recommendation, followed by comparing and contrasting the results of various scenarios to the current military retirement plan available to service members.
