Zusammenfassung:Multidirectional functionally graded simply supported plates where the grading occurs symmetrically in all three coordinate directions exposed to time-dependent pressure pulses is considered. Within this context, the classical thin plate theory is adopted (CPT). The grading occurs in all three coordinate directions and is based on 3 independent polynomial and power law distributions. The equations of motion are derived through the use of Hamilton's Principle. By leveraging both approximate analytical and numerical techniques such as the Guassian-Quadrature method, The Galerkin-Method, and the 4th Order Runge-Kutta method, the dynamic response for various kinds of pressure pulses is presented. In a detailed fashion, the influence of the volume fraction indexes, various geometrical and material parameters, and the damping on the dynamic response is presented and analyzed. Finally validations are made with specialized cases found within the literature.
