Zusammenfassung:This research project will assist in the development of a database architecture for Southwest Asian counternarcotics programs in support of the Counternarcotics Police of Afghanistan (CNPA). By leveraging lessons learned from drug data collection efforts in the Western Hemisphere, this research presents the most appropriate technical methods to be used in data collection, validation, and analysis of heroin and opium data in Southwest Asia. Advanced statistical methods are captured in this document along with recommendations for ways in which United States Central Command can use drug data to assess its investments in counter-narcotics programs.
