Zusammenfassung:Engineering models can be a better way to accomplish project objectives and open new doors for improvements in operational and management techniques. Thinking must be changed from studying and designing on paper to designing on a model. Initial modeling efforts may be difficult but some of the problems can be reduced by the lessons learned. When an appreciation of the value of models and the ease by which they can be constructed is gained, the model will become part of the standard design procedure. The benefits are great.
