Zusammenfassung: | This report presents the results of an evaluation of a change in range factor as a result of an application of Racer's Edge polish to a T-38A aircraft (HAVE SLICKER). The objective of this effort was to characterize potential range factor (true airspeed multiplied by aircraft gross weight divided by fuel flow) changes as a result of the polish application. Testing was conducted by the USAF Test Pilot School Class 97B at Edwards AFB, California, from 16 March to 9 April 1998. Testing was requested by the Air Force Flight Test Center Single Face to Customer Office, at Edwards AFB, and was conducted under a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement number CR980100. |
