Zusammenfassung:In November of 1996, the Army conducted a survey of the Threatened and Endangered species residing on and contiguous to its lands. Some 201 installations responded to the survey. The information gathered was intended for use by Army Headquarters, Major Commands, and installations. This document is one of three technical reports based on the 1996 survey data. Information in this report has been structured to provide an effective means of cross-referencing species information with installation information. Installation profiles, specifying MACOM, county, point-of-contact, and a listing of all onsite and contiguous species by category, are presented for each of the 201 installations. The profiles indicate the status of the installation's species in the following topic areas: (1) critical habitat, (2) biological assessments, (3) endangered species management plans, (4) restrictions/impacts, and (5) expenditures. Detailed information on management topics are located in the appendix tables. The appendices also provide a quick way for installations to locate other installations with similar species and/or management concerns.
