Zusammenfassung:As a part of the MEOCS 2000 Project to plan for a second generation of the Military Equal Opportunity Climate Survey, a literature review was conducted focusing on recent developments in survey management technology and on the emergence of new equal opportunity issues. Studies of the advantages and disadvantages of computer administered surveys versus paper and pencil surveys were reviewed, and the feasibility of adapting the MEOCS to a computer administered format was discussed. Recommendations were made for changes in the structure of MEOCS and in the coverage of equal opportunity issues. Prepared in collaboration with Randolph-Macon Woman's College, Lynchburg, VA.
