Zusammenfassung: | The Common Research Environment for Space-Time Adaptive Processing Technology (CREST) Data Library (CDL) was developed to access, query, and retrieve Radar Surveillance Technology Experimental Radar (RSTER) data. Coordinated under the Crest effort, the CDL and the Rome Laboratory Space-Time Adaptive Processing/Advanced Development Tool (RLSTAP/ADT) provide the STAP algorithm developer/researcher with a powerful capability to both access and process RSTER data. Object Oriented (OO) technology was used to develop the design of the CDL. Following OO fashion, prototyping was utilized as the method to verify and refine the design. A result of this development was that the World Wide Web (WWW) was incorporated as a component of the final system. Since the WWW is presently used as a tool by researchers, the WWW CDL prototype has been retained to serve as a tool for the novice user. The other components of the system utilized the Object Management Architecture (OMA) to accomplish the goal of deploying a distributed system. This Final Technical Report is divided into two sections. The first, System Description, defines the overall architecture and concept of operation for the CDL. The second, Technical Goals and Accomplishments, discusses future direction of the WWW and OMA with respect to this project for the concepts of distributed computing, rapid prototyping and supporting/future technologies. |
