Zusammenfassung: | Infrared spectra were collected of targets and tree and grass backgrounds during 9 days over a 2-month period, from September 24 to November 29, 1993, at Wright Laboratory/Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton Ohio. A description of the infrared spectrometer, the experiments conducted, and the data obtained are given. High spectral correlations in backgrounds were observed during the 2-month period, with the highest correlation observed near midday at the beginning of the 2-month period. There is evidence of seasonal variations in correlation as well as observed radiance. jg
