Zusammenfassung:Language enhancements carried out for the ESPRIT 'SPRITE' project 2260 are discussed. These enhancements include naming of output signals, multiple identifier declarations, multiple instantiation of functions and advanced connectivity of circuits. A new primitive has also been added to the language for extending the timing model. The syntactic and semantic definitions of the enhancements together with examples of text are presented.
