Zusammenfassung: | Four U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Districts, one Area Office (AO), and one Directorate of Engineering and Housing (DEH) evaluated an acceptance test procedure for air supply and distribution systems. The purpose of the procedure is to determine if air supply and distribution systems in new buildings were installed properly and are operating in an energy-efficient manner. The objective of this test was to determine the validity of the acceptance test procedure for use by Corps inspection personnel. Based on the participants' responses to this demonstration, the acceptance test procedure is relatively easy to use, accurate, and appropriate for evaluating the installation and operation of air supply and distribution systems in new Army facilities. It is recommended that this procedure be used in the field and revised and updated after periodic review to prevent it from becoming obsolete. It is also recommended that the checklist portions of the procedure be used to establish a regular maintenance schedule. |
