Zusammenfassung: | This paper is a product of the Institute for Water Resources (IWR) research on uncertainty in benefit analysis. The research is intended to enable Corps of Engineer economists to make better estimates of project benefits with limited resources, and to help the Corps to better orient its research program to provide useful methods and empirical data for resolving uncertainty in project planning. To help focus the effort, IWR organized a workshop on 29 April 1988 to determine the current attitudes and practices from a survey of Corps economists. This report summarizes the questionnaire which covered the most significant topics of that workshop. Keywords: Uncertainty analysis; Cost-benefit analysis; Flood control; Urban flood economics. |
