Zusammenfassung:The mutagenic potential of (E)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-6-methyl-1-(2-methyl-1-oxo-2-butenyl) quinoline (CHR 5) was assessed by using the Ames salmonella/Mammalian Microsome Mutagenicity Assay. Tester strains TA 98, TA 100, TA 1535, TA 1537 and TA 1538 were exposed to doses ranging from .1 mg/plate to 3.2 x .00005 mg/plate. It was determined that the test substance did not have mutagenic potential.
