Zusammenfassung:Work was performed to design an improved method of packing 105-mm TP-T cartridge M490. The present method of pack (two fiber containers per wood box, 12 or 15 wood boxes per skid base) was replaced by an improved method (39 improved fiber containers per pallet-type wirebound box). This change improved logistics and reduced material and transportation costs for training cartridges.
