Zusammenfassung:Fluidic components being used in various aircraft applications are demonstrating extremely high reliability. However, the unique design of new fluidic components results in a very limited failure rate data base and prevents the determination of numerical values of fluidic system reliability at a sufficient confidence level. This report identifies the potential failure modes of typical components used in a Fluidic Backup Flight Control System and establishes their frequencies of occurrence from published test reports.
