Zusammenfassung:This report contains the proceedings of a conference convened to evaluate problems in Nutrition Education and recommend courses of action to correct them. Representatives responsible for these programs in USDA, HHS nad the VA participated as well as experts from academia. The consensus of opinion and recommendations of the conferees was; (a) The initiation of DoD projects related to the change of food habits and dietary practices is needed. (b) The DoD offers decided advantages for the conduct of such a program and (c) this effort would not replace other projects by Federal Agencies but would stimulate cooperative efforts by others.
