Zusammenfassung:The theoretical research documented in this report addresses control law design methodologies relevant to control of large space structures. Emphasis is on model reduction, design methods for determining reduced-order compensators, and criteria for determining overall closed-loop system stability. A simple but realistic evaluation model (Draper Model no. 2) is presented which will be used to assess performance and sensitivity of the various active structural control methods.
