Zusammenfassung:The primary goal of this work was the development of a rapid, reliable and valid behavioral psychophysical technique for the assessment of pure tone audiograms in the minipig. The two-choice procedure was found to be better than the go-no-go procedure. The test apparatus was satisfactory with modifications and the minipig would be a suitable animal for studying high-peak pressure impulse-noise hearing loss. (Author)
