Zusammenfassung: | A new flow visualization technique was demonstrated in the 12-inch (0.305 m) and 48-inch (1.22 m) diameter water tunnels of the Applied Research Laboratory at The Pennsylvania State University (ARL/PSU). The technique features the application of large numbers of extremely fine nylon mono-filament fiber tufts to a model's surface. The fibers are treated with a fluorescent dye and rendered visible by ultraviolet light. (Author) |
