Zusammenfassung: | The dermal penetration of radio-labeled 14C-ABATE was measured in rats, rabbits, and dogs. Absorption was assessed by monitoring excreted radioactivity in urine and feces for 7 days and analysis of representative tissue specimens at the end of the test period. It is concluded that topically applied ABATE should not present a dermatotoxic hazard to man following a single application and absorption would be expected to be less than 3 percent of the applied dose. No evidence of bodily retention or pooling of the radioactive moiety has been demonstrated in these tests. (Author) |
