Topics included higher order buckling in the presence of imperfections, dynamic instability, composite material, wave propagation through nonlinear and random media, vortex motion in fluids, the small mean free path approximation to the transport equations, etc. Asymptotic, perturbation and bifurcation techniques predominated.
