Zusammenfassung:The primary goal of this research was to study errors in stadimetric estimation. Earlier workers had hypothesized that differences in angular velocity of stimuli associated with direction of movement resulted in differneces in error between incoming and outgoing stimuli. Therefore, an experiment was performed which investigated differences in range estimation error as a function of three movement rates. The results showed that errors were consistent regardless of rate of movement.
