Zusammenfassung: | Autogenous marrow-cancellous bone chips were transplanted into 20 canine frontal sinus cavities and the anterior wall surgical defect covered with a nylon-backed cellulose acetate filter. The autoclaved cellulose acetate was found to easily crack and flake from the nylon backing after even minimal manipulation. This technique did not given a normal frontal contour unless the frontal sinus was completely filled with the autogeneous graft at the time of transplant surgery. (Author) |
