| Zusammenfassung: | The symposium consists of seven articles of which the first two review various methods of granulocyte collection as well as other clinical applications of cell separators. Then one article presents a discussion usefulness of these techniques which is followed by a state of the art of present and potential clinical usefulness of these techniques which is followed by a state of the art review of bone marrow transplantation. The remainder of the symposium consists of a discussion of liquid blood preservation, a review of common anemias seen in clinical practice, and a case report on successful use of dimercaprol in gold-induced thrombocytopenia.
