Zusammenfassung: | This study is an analysis of the evolution of UK and European security cooperation since 1945 and a forecast of plausible future cooperation in the wake of Britain's withdrawal from the European Union. It considers a variety of theoretical approaches but focuses on developing a framework for strategic culture that is applied to the historical evolution of both European and UK security cooperation. From this foundation, the study engages in constructivist forecasting of plausible pathways of development for future UK-European security cooperation in the post-Brexit context. |
