Zusammenfassung:Task Order 0001 is a prospective observational cohort that will have a limited data set from trauma registry data and electronic health records. Specific Aim one is to characterize the epidemiology of moderate and severe physical injury in the U.S. and across the LITES network and investigate regional variations of presenting characteristics, management practices and attributable outcomes. Specific Aim two is to determine and characterize injury related factors, management practices and trauma system factors resulting in or associated with preventable mortality.
