Zusammenfassung: | The 2016 Workplace and Gender Relations Survey of Active Duty Members (2016 WGRA), a key source of information for evaluating the programs pertaining to unwanted gender-related issues in the military and for assessing the gender relations environment across the Services. This report describes the statistical methodologies for the 2016 WGRA. The first section describes the sample design and selection of the sample. The second section describes weighting and variance estimation, as well as a comparison to the 2014 RAND Military Workplace Study (2014 RMWS) and 2015 Workplace and Gender Relations Survey of Reserve Component Members (2015 WGRR). The third section describes the statistical tests used for the 2016 WGRA. The fourth section describes the calculation of cooperation, completion, and response rates for the full sample and population subgroups. The fifth section provides an overview of the nonresponse bias analysis that will be done at a later date. |
