Zusammenfassung: | In fluid mechanics, speed measurements for research on flow-mechanical problems are fundamental. Special attention is paid to the optical speed measurement methods, as these are non-contact and thus without interference. This measurement is the particle-image-velocimetry (PIV), in which scattering particles are fluid injected in a streaming and recorded by a camera. My master's thesis aims to develop a new analysis procedure for the recording of PIY and implement. In preparation for the master's thesis, it is the goal of this study to develop an algorithm for detecting scattered particles on PIV recordings and to implement. The algorithm is to associate the images of the tracer in the photographs coordinate in order later to retrace their paths in the airfoil with the procedure above. In addition, this algorithm is embedded in a graphical user interface that contains more image-processing methods. This includes methods for the visualization of the images and for the recognition of the geometry to be measured in flows. |
