Zusammenfassung:The purpose of this work was to evaluate the efficacy of mechanical cutting and herbicide applications to control invasive phragmites at Times Beach, a 56-acre nature preserve located in Buffalo, New York. The overall objective of this five-year project is to replace the dense monotypic stands of phragmites with a diverse native plant community that will repair ecosystem function.
