Zusammenfassung:This final report is presented in two main parts representing two major categories of effort expended by Motorola. The first part summarizes the results of studies aimed at broadbanding and packaging of NPN transistors to deliver 10 watts of output power with 10 dB gain in the frequency range of 0.7 GHz to 1.4 GHz. The second part gives an account of the developmental effort applied towards the fabrication of 1 GHz PNP transistors with 10 watts output power and 10 dB gain capability.
