Zusammenfassung:In this study, many facets of the spin phenomenon are analytically investigated. The technical approach and scope of effort of this study are predicated on achieving the necessary conditions for establishing definitive conclusions. The study itself, hopefully, may be the basis of an authoritative text on the overall subject of spinning. In its present form, it should assist persons desirous of acquiring a knowledge of the spin phenomenon on a theoretical or applied level. For example, the study reports on the influence that static and dynamic aerodynamic characteristics and non-aerodynamic quantities (i.e. mass distribution, wing loading, entry altitude, entry load factor) have on the spinning motion of aircraft. Also, since this report presents the latest state-of-the-art information and identifies the areas requiring additional study, it should serve to stimulate other investigators having new concepts, approaches and energies.
