Zusammenfassung: | This report presents the results of four SHELL calculations of Shot Priscilla (36.6 kilotons at 700 feet). Three of the calculations included the formation of a hot layer of air immediately above the ground. The hot layer caused the incident shock to refract and form a toe or nuclear blast precursor. The precursor phenomena were characterized by two overpressure peaks, reduced overpressures, longer positive phase durations, and large dynamic pressure impulses. The fourth calculation included no heating and produced an ideal reflection. This report contains the waveforms for overpressure, overpressure impulse, dynamic pressure, dynamic pressure impulse, and pitch angle for these stations. (Author)
