Zusammenfassung:In the described illnesses the methods of differential diagnosis were thoroughly used -- namely electron microscopy and tissue culture. The vaccinia virus was transferred to rabbits who then showed the disease picture of Glossitis papulosa first described by Michelson for humans and etiologically described by Gottron.
