Zusammenfassung: | Raman studies were carried out using argon ion laser excitation on a variety of inorganic solids using a number of different laser tube designs. The laser tubes that were designed and used included (1) an all metal design; (2) a graphite capillary design; and (3) a BeO capillary design. Raman studies were carried out on the following compounds: Al2O3, AlP, SiC (6H), SiC (cubic), Ga2O3, As2O3, Sb2O3, Be, AuAl2 and AuGa2. While detailed studies were carried out on the first three compounds, only survey spectra have been obtained, so far, for the last seven compounds. (Author) |
